Lonigo
Lonigo is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, northern Italy, its population counts around 16,400 inhabitants. Matej Žagar (born 3 April 1983 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a Slovenian motorcycle speedway rider who was won two Individual Speedway European Champion titles in 2008 Individual Speedway European Championship, 2008 and 2009 Individual Speedway European Championship, 2009. He is 18 times Slovenian Individual Speedway Championship, Slovenian Speedway Champion. Career In 2002, he won the 2002 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship and the following year made his debut in the Individual Speedway World Championship, Individual World Championship. Wiesław Jaguś (born 13 September 1975) is a former Polish speedway rider. Career In August 2006, during the Speedway Grand Prix Qualification he won the GP Challenge, which ensured that he claimed a permanent slot for the 2007 Grand Prix. He duly rode in the 2007 Speedway Grand Prix series. He won the European Pairs Champion in 2007. Jaguś retired from competitive speedway at the close of the 2010 season, after starting his career in 1992. Nominated to "2008 Toruń Citizen of the Year" Gazeta Wyborcza. Antonio Lindbäck (born 5 May 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden, who competed in the Speedway World Championship and was a member of the Swedish team who won the Speedway World Cup in 2004 and 2015. Christopher Calvin Harris (born 28 November 1982) from Truro, Cornwall, nicknamed ''Bomber'', is a Great Britain international motorcycle speedway rider from England. Career history Early career Harris began his racing career at the age of six and a half by competing in grasstrack events. His talent quickly became apparent when he began to win all of the junior age groups in the South-West area. In 1998, aged 15, he turned to speedway racing for the St. Austell Gulls at Amateur Conference League level. The Gulls won the Championship and the Knockout Cup. Mattia Carpanese born (5 November 1985 in Padova, Italy) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Italy. He is six times National champion of Italy. Career Carpanese rode in the United Kingdom for the Workington Comets during the 2007 Premier League, and for the Birmingham Brummies in 2008. Carpanese finished runner-up in the Italian Championship in 2005. He was selected as a wild card for the 2006 and 2007 Italian Speedway Grand Prix. He quit the Comets after a string of injuries on 30 August 2007.
