2007 Jacksonville Jaguars Season
The 2007 Jacksonville Jaguars season was the franchise's thirteenth season in the National Football League (NFL) and the fifth under head coach Jack Del Rio. They improved upon their 8–8 record from 2006 when they finished third in the AFC South, and returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2005. The Jaguars upset the Pittsburgh Steelers 31–29 in the Wild Card round but were defeated by the New England Patriots 31–20 in the Divisional Playoffs. The franchise would miss the playoffs for the next nine seasons, only returning to the playoffs after winning the AFC South in 2017. AFC South
The American Football Conference – Southern Division or AFC South is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Ahmad Raheem Carroll (born August 4, 1983) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2004 NFL draft. Bruce Thornton (cornerback)
Bruce Thornton Sr. (born January 31, 1980) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at the University of Georgia. Early life Thornton attended LaGrange High School, where he was a three-year starter at running back. After his playing career, he became a co-host of a local radio show. David Douglas Garrard (born February 14, 1978) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. He played college football for the East Carolina Pirates and was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. Byron Antron Leftwich (born January 14, 1980) is an American former professional football quarterback and coach who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons. He is currently an assistant coach at Colorado.
