Zone Fantasy
Zone Fantasy was a television film channel in Italy that featured diverse programming. Zone Fantasy was targeted towards a mixed 16- to 45-year-old demographic, and focused on adventure, fantasy, horror and science fiction genres. The channel transmitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on SKY Italia. The channel ceased its broadcasts on 6 September 2011 and was rebranded by Horror Channel Legend, formerly Zone Horror and Horror Channel, is a British free-to-air television channel specialising in sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, action and cult series. TVN Med
TVN Med was a Polish television channel owned by TVN, the television arm of the ITI Group. It was the only TV channel in Poland with access restricted to just one professional group - namely physicians. It was available on-line and via the n digital platform, but to receive a password allowing to watch it, one had to present a valid medical licence. All Polish doctors could watch the channel free-of-charge, however starting from October 2007, if they wished to receive it via satellite, they were required to purchase their own set-top box for the platform; previously, these were lent to general practitioners. The channel officially closed on January 1, 2009, when the ITI Group opted to convert the service to an online platform due to insufficient profitability. Sportklub, formerly rendered as Sport Klub, is a subscription sports television service which is broadcast in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2006, Croatia from 2007 and North Macedonia from 2011. A different version of the channel also was available in Poland since 2006. Sportklub broadcast many different sporting events including football, basketball, tennis, American football, ice hockey, volleyball, handball, athletics, and golf among others. The programmes were transmitted in Croatian, Slovenian, and Albanian. The channel was launched by IKO Media Group in 2006, and was later sold to various companies. It was formerly available in Hungary (2006–2016) and Romania (2006–2012). AXN Black
AXN Black is a channel operated by Sony Pictures Television International Networks Europe. Its programming is basically focused on action and crime television series and movies. The channel was first launched in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique on May 9, 2011 and replaced Animax. A Central European version was launched on October 1, 2013 in Hungary, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Moldova, where it replaced AXN Sci Fi. On October 3, 2017 the channel was replaced by Sony Movie Channel in Hungary. On October 1, 2021, Sony Pictures Television Networks sold its Central European TV portfolio to Antenna Group, and on 24 March 2022, that channel was renamed Viasat Film. On February 17, 2020 the channel was replaced by AXN Movies in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique. On 1 September 2023, German channel Sony AXN was renamed as AXN Black. AXN White
AXN White is a channel operated by Sony Pictures Television International Networks Europe. Its programming is focused on comedy and romantic television series and movies. The channel was launched in Portugal on 14 April 2012 and in Spain on 7 May 2012 replacing Sony Entertainment Television. The channel replaced AXN Crime on 1 October 2013 in Hungary, Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Moldova. On October 3, 2017 the channel was replaced by Sony Max in Hungary. On May 1, 2023 the channel was replaced by AXN Movies in Spain. In 1 September 2023, German channel Sony Channel was renamed as AXN White. AXN Sci-Fi was a European pay television channel owned by Sony Pictures Television. It was available in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. On 13 April 2013, AXN Sci-Fi Russia changed its name to Sony Sci-Fi. On 11 July, Sony announced that AXN Sci Fi and AXN Crime would be replaced by AXN Black and AXN White. On 1 October, AXN Sci Fi was replaced by AXN Black, however Italy edition was unaffected. On 28 February 2017, the channel was discontinued in Italy, together with AXN. ''Dancing with the Stars. Taniec z gwiazdami'' (previously simply ''Taniec z gwiazdami'' ) is a Polish light entertainment reality television series broadcast by Polsat. It is the Polish version of the British reality TV competition ''Strictly Come Dancing'' and is part of the ''Dancing with the Stars'' franchise. The show first aired on TVN (Polish TV channel), TVN in the spring of 2005. Since then, a new season has aired every autumn and spring, except for a break in 2012–2013. Every Sunday, ratings average more than 7 million viewers for the first airing. The highest-rated episode was the second-season finale when ratings were around 8 million people. Since the beginning of the show, there have been four different presenters. Magda Mołek was the female host only during the show's first season. Television in Poland was Timeline of the introduction of television in countries, introduced on an experimental basis in 1937. It was state owned, and was interrupted by the Second World War in 1939. Television returned to Poland in 1952 and for several decades was controlled by the communist government. Colour television was introduced in Poland in 1971.
