2005–06 Men's EuroFloorball Cup Finals
The 2005–06 Men's EuroFloorball Cup Finals took place in Ostrava, Czech Republic from 4 to 8 January 2006. Warberg IC won the Champions Cup (floorball), EuroFloorball Cup after defeating SalibandySeura Viikingit, SSV Helsinki 7–6 after penalty shots. The tournament was known as the 2005–06 Men's European Cup, but due to name implications, is now known as the 2005–06 Men's EuroFloorball Cup. SSV Helsinki
SSV Helsinki is a floorball team based in Helsinki, Finland. The team was founded in 1986 and they currently play in Salibandyliiga, the top floorball league in Finland. History SSV Helsinki was founded in 1986 and was originally named Salibandy Sulkapallo Vuosaari. They got their current name in 2000 after merging with another local team Vuosaaren Viikingit. SSV played their first official game in the 1987–88 season of the I Divisioona ( English: ''Men's First Division''). They were promoted to Salibandyliiga for the 1988–89 season and snatched their first title in the 1992–93 season. SSV played in the very first EuroFloorball Cup in 1993 and made their way to the finals where they lost to Balrog IK (9-2). The team finally grabbed their first EuroFloorball Cup in 2009 after having lost all their 4 previous appearances in the finals. SV Wiler-Ersigen
The SV Wiler-Ersigen (abbreviated SVWE) is a Swiss floorball club founded in 1984. It is based in Zuchwil, about 40 km north of Bern. The club is named after two nearby municipalities Wiler bei Utzenstorf and Ersigen, or rather their teams, which merged in 1989. The men's team plays in Swiss highest floorball league, the Lidl Unihockey Prime League (Floorball), Unihockey Prime League. It first entered the top competition, at the time the ''National League A'', in 1988 as ''SV Wiler''. Eight years later, in 1996, it was relegated to the second league for one season. Since then, the team has played the top competition continuously. In 2004, Wiler won its first title. A season later they won not only the league again but also the ''Swiss Cup''.
