2005–06 Liga De Fútbol Profesional Boliviano
The 2005–06 Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano was the first Bolivian football league to use the European calendar format. However, it was quickly changed after issues with relegation occurring in the middle of the season instead of the end. Torneo Apertura The first part of the season was divided into two groups. The top three of each group advanced to a final group stage known as the Hexagonal Final. Serie A Serie B Hexagonal final Promotion/relegation Due to issues with the second division and changing to the European season format, a relegation was held in the middle of the season between the Apertura and Clausura. Universidad Iberoamericana was relegated and Destroyers played a promotion relegation playoff against Guabirá. Universitario was promoted to the Torneo Clausura. Club Blooming
Club Social, Cultural y Deportivo de Blooming, commonly known as Blooming, is a Bolivian professional football club from Santa Cruz de la Sierra that currently plays in the Bolivian Primera División. Founded in 1946, its home colours are sky blue, white and navy. They play at the Estadio Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera (38,000 seats). Its main rival is Oriente Petrolero, also from Santa Cruz. When they face each other in the local derby also known as Clásico Cruceño, it is considered one of the most important matches in Bolivian football due to the fanaticism and passion of its fans, as well as, the intensity of the match itself. Gualberto Mojica Olmos (, born 7 October 1984) is a Bolivian football manager and former player who played as an attacking midfielder. He is the current manager of Oriente Petrolero. Club career Mojica was one of the most promising prospects of the largely awarded Tahuichi Academy's class of '84. After an impressive performance in the Gothia Cup, winning the title with Tahuichi in 2001, he awoke the interest of Wilstermann, club for which he later signed in May 2001. Club career Nicknamed ''El Loco'', Menacho has developed most of his football career in Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano.
