Stepan Romanovich Senchuk ( uk, Степан Романович Сенчук; 23 March 1955 – 29 November 2005) was born in the city of Prokopyevsk in Kemerovo Oblast Russia . He was part of a family that was subjected to repression. Senchuk studied at the Lviv agricultural institute (1972–1977), specializing in engineering and mechanics. From 1977 to 1993, Senchuk was on engineering and supervising posts at different agricultural enterprises. Since 1993, he was general director of Lviv's regional state enterprise, '' Lvivagroremmashpostach''. Background He was the deputy of the Lviv regional council from 1994 to 1998, where he headed the Agrarian Party. From March 1997 to April 1998, Senchuk was the vice president of the Lviv-region state administration for agriculture and foodstuffs. Yuriy Fedorovych Kravchenko ( uk, Юрій Федорович Кравченко; March 5, 1951 – March 4, 2005) was a Ukrainian General of Internal Service and statesman, serving as the country's Minister of Internal Affairs (1995—2001). In 2000, while he was serving as the Minister of Internal Affairs, Kravchenko became directly involved in the murder case of Georgiy Gongadze and the subsequent " Cassette Scandal." Kravechenko later was the governor of the Kherson Oblast (2001—2002) and Head of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine (2002—2003). Yuriy Ivanovych Yekhanurov ( uk, Юрій Іванович Єхануров, ; born August 23, 1948) is a Ukrainian politician who was Prime Minister of Ukraine from 2005 to 2006 and Minister of Defense from 2007 to 2009. Background and professional career Yekhanurov was born in the village Belkachi in the far-north Yakut ASSR, which is currently the Sakha Republic within the Russian Federation. His father, Ivan Mikhailovich Yekhanurov is an ethnic Buryat, while his mother, Halyna (her real name is Helena) Ivanivna is an ethnic Pole.
