2003 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 2003 FIVB Volleyball World League was the 14th edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played by 16 countries from 16 May to 13 July 2003. The Final Round was held in Madrid, Spain. Pools composition Intercontinental round *The top two teams in each pool will qualify for the Final Round. If the Final Round hosts Spain finish lower than second in their pool, they will still qualify along with the best three second teams across all four pools. 3 (three) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 2 and preceding 4, and is the smallest odd prime number and the only prime preceding a square number. It has religious and cultural significance in many societies. Andrija Gerić ( sr-cyrl, Андрија Герић, ; born 24 January 1977) is a retired Serbian volleyball player who played on middle blocker position. Both in the club and in the national team he wore number 12. Career Gerić made a debut for the national team on 7 July 1995 in Greece when FR Yugoslavia defeated Greece 0-3. In 2000 in Sydney the Yugoslav national team (members of which were also Vladimir Grbić, Nikola Grbić, Goran Vujević, Ivan Miljković) won the Olympic gold medal. Bernardo Rezende
Bernardo Rocha de Rezende (born 25 August 1959), known as Bernardo Rezende and nicknamed Bernardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball coach and former player. He is the current coach of the female volleyball team Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube. Rezende is one of the most successful coaches in the history of volleyball, accumulating more than 30 major titles in a twenty-year career directing the Brazilian Brazil men's national volleyball team, male and Brazil women's national volleyball team, female teams. Dante Guimarães Santos do Amaral (born 30 September 1980) is a Brazilian former professional volleyball player, who is best known as Dante. Measuring he played in the position of outside hitter. He was born in Itumbiara. Biography Early years Career Dante began his professional career in 1999 with the club Tres Corações. After another two years at Brazilian clubs Suzano São Paulo and Minas Belo Horizonte, in 2002 he got transferred to Italy, playing with Pallavolo Modena, where he won the CEV Cup. Ricardo Bermudez Garcia (born 19 November 1975), known as Ricardinho, is a Brazilian volleyball player. He competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics. Ricardinho was born in São Paulo. In 2004, he was part of the Brazilian team which won the gold medal in the Olympic tournament. He played all eight matches. In 2007, Ricardinho was dismissed from the team, reportedly because of conflicts with other team members. He rejoined the team for the 2012 Olympics in London where they won the silver medal.
