2000–01 North European Basketball League
2000–01 NEBL was the second complete season of the North European Basketball League. The tournament was held during the 2000–01 basketball season on 30 November 2000 – 22 April 2001. The winner of the NEBL championship was awarded with $45,000 cheque, the other finalist received $25,000, 3rd-place winner - $20,000 and 4th best team got $10,000. PBC Ural Great Perm, Ural Great won the tournament by defeating BC Žalgiris, Žalgiris in the final. Sergei Chikalkin from PBC Ural Great Perm, Ural Great was named as the Most valuable player. 2000 North European Basketball League
NEBL'2000 was the first complete season of the North European Basketball League. The tournament was held during the 1999-2000 basketball season on 5 January – 16 April 2000. After holding 1999 NEBL Promotion Cup, Promotion Cup, teams from four more countries – Germany, Russia, Ukraine and Denmark – took part in NEBL'2000. League accepted the participation of Borås Basket, Magic M7 from Sweden, with which Magic Johnson, Earvin "Magic" Johnson entered into an agreement. PBC CSKA Moscow, CSKA won the tournament by defeating BC Lietuvos rytas, Lietuvos rytas in the final. Andrius Giedraitis from BC Lietuvos rytas, Lietuvos rytas was named as the Most valuable player. The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL; ), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional club basketball league in Lithuania. BK Ventspils is a professional basketball club that is located in Ventspils, Latvia. The club competes in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League. History BK Ventspils was founded in 1994.
