Cristian Eugen Chivu (; born 26 October 1980) is a Romanian professional football coach and former player who is the current head coach of Serie A club Inter Milan. A defender, he began his career with hometown club CSM ReÈ™iÈ›a before moving to Universitatea Craiova in 1998, leaving Romania to join Dutch club Ajax a season later. His performances as the captain of Ajax inspired an €18 million transfer to Roma in 2003. Cedric Van Der Gun
Cedric van der Gun (born 5 May 1979) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a winger. Club career Ajax and loan spells Born in The Hague, Van der Gun started his professional football at Ajax when he first joined at fifteen years old. Van der Gun was part of the senior squad of the club in the 1998–99 season, but did not play. He then joined Den Bosch in the 1999–2000 season and made his debut in the Eredivisie. Nikos Machlas
Nikos Machlas (, born 16 June 1973) is a retired Greek former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career OFI Crete Machlas began his career with OFI, where he made his debut in February 1991 against Panionios. He stayed at the club for six seasons. He had the Dutchman Eugène Gerards as a coach at OFI Crete. Vitesse Machlas signed for Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in 1996 from Greece. John O'Brien (soccer)
Jonathan Patrick O'Brien (born August 29, 1977) is an American former soccer player. After retiring, he pursued a career in psychology. O'Brien was one of the first Americans to earn a starting spot with a major European team, with Ajax Amsterdam in the late 1990s.O'Brien was the second American ever to play for the 1st team of Ajax, the first being Eddy Hamel who played for the club from 1922 to 1930. At the peak of his career, United States national teammate Landon Donovan called O'Brien the "best soccer player in the USA." Wamberto de Jesus Sousa Campos (born 14 December 1974) is a Brazilian former footballer who last played as a forward and as a midfielder. He notably represented Ajax and Standard Liége. He was also nicknamed ''Wampie'' by Ajax supporters. Biography Wamberto played for Seraing and Standard Liège in Belgium and Ajax in Netherlands. Richard Knopper
Richard Knopper (born 29 August 1977) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Club career Born in Rijswijk, Knopper began his career with Feyenoord but, still in his youth, moved to rivals Ajax, making his official debut in November 1997 against Sparta Rotterdam.
