1st Federal Electoral District Of Tabasco
The 1st federal electoral district of Tabasco () is one of the Federal electoral districts of Mexico, 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies (Mexico), Chamber of Deputies and one of six such districts in the States of Mexico, state of Tabasco. It elects one deputy (legislator), deputy to the lower house of Congress (Mexico), Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the Plurality voting system, first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the Electoral regions of Mexico, third region. Tabasco is a state in Southeast Mexico that is divided into 17 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican census, it has the 20th largest population with inhabitants and is the 24th largest by land area spanning .
