Sean Bean
Sean Bean (born Shaun Mark Bean; 17 April 1959) is an English actor. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he made his professional debut in a production of ''Romeo and Juliet'' in 1983 at The Watermill Theatre. Sybil Ruscoe
Sybil Ruscoe DL (born 8 August 1960 in Wem, Shropshire, England) is a British radio and television presenter. Ruscoe began her career on the ''Express & Star'' newspaper in Wolverhampton. She moved to Radio Wyvern, Beacon Radio, then BBC Radio Shropshire. She was teamed with Simon Mayo on Radio 1 Breakfast in 1988 and 89. She also started presenting television during this period, including ''Top of the Pops''. She was a presenter of Radio 1 Newsbeat and News 90, ''News 91'', ''News 92'' and ''News 93''. In 1994, Ruscoe and John Inverdale were the first presenters hired by BBC Radio 5 Live. Ruscoe presented the afternoon show for five years. In 1999, she joined the BAFTA and RTS award-winning Channel 4 Cricket. She was the first woman to present cricket on TV, and was named a Cosmopolitan Inspirational Woman of the Year. Ian Edward Wright (born 3 November 1963) is an English media personality and former professional footballer. Wright enjoyed success with London clubs Crystal Palace and Arsenal as a forward, spending six years with the former and seven years with the latter. With Arsenal he lifted the Premier League title, both the major domestic cup competitions, and the European Cup Winners Cup. Known for his speed, agility, finishing and aggression, he played 581 league games, scoring 287 goals for seven clubs in Scotland and England, while also earning 33 caps for the England national team, and scoring nine international goals. Michael Parkinson
Sir Michael Parkinson (28 March 1935 – 16 August 2023) was an English television presenter, broadcaster, journalist and author. He presented his television talk show '' Parkinson'' from 1971 to 1982 and from 1998 to 2007, as well as other talk shows and programmes both in the UK and abroad. He also worked in radio and was described by ''The Guardian'' as "the great British talkshow host". Early life Michael Parkinson was born on 28 March 1935 in the village of Cudworth, in Barnsley. The son of a miner, he was educated at Barnsley Grammar School after passing the eleven-plus and in 1951 passed two O-Levels: in art and English language. ''Parkinson'' was a British television chat show presented by Michael Parkinson. It was first shown on BBC One from 19 June 1971 to 10 April 1982 and from 9 January 1998 to 24 April 2004. Parkinson then switched to ITV (TV network), ITV on which the show continued from 4 September 2004 to 22 December 2007. A parallel series was shown in Australia on the ABC between 1979 and 1982. A series entitled ''Parkinson One to One'' was produced by ITV Yorkshire, Yorkshire Television from 28 March 1987 to 23 July 1988. Parkinson was revived again as ''Parkinson: Masterclass'' on Sky Arts from 2012 to 2014. ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'' is a British television quiz show and the original version of the large international franchise based on the format. It was created by David Briggs, Steven Knight and Mike Whitehill for the ITV network. The programme's format has contestants answering multiple-choice questions based on general knowledge, winning a cash prize for each question they answer correctly, with the amount offered increasing as they take on more difficult questions. If an incorrect answer is given, the contestant will leave with whatever cash prize is guaranteed by the last safety net they have passed, unless they opt to walk away before answering the next question with the money they had managed to reach. To assist in the quiz, contestants are given a series of "lifelines" to help answer questions. ''First Wave'' is a Canadian science fiction drama television series, filmed in Vancouver, that aired from 1998 to 2001 on the Space Channel in Canada. The show was created and written by American screenwriter Chris Brancato. Francis Ford Coppola was executive producer on the show. In an unusual move, the Sci-Fi Channel, which picked up the show in late 1998, later expanded their pickup of the series to a 66-episode order.
