Billy Hamill
William Gordon Hamill (born 23 May 1970, in California, United States) is an American international motorcycle speedway rider. He is a former Speedway World Champion, winning the title in 1996. Career Early career Hamill began junior speedway in California in 1983, eventually turning professional in 1986. In 1990, he left California to race for Cradley Heathens in the British League, joining fellow Californian and friend Greg Hancock. In his debut season of racing in Europe, Hamill won his first FIM Gold Medal as the USA won the World Team Cup. 1991–95 In 1991, Hamill again rode for the Heathens and he also made his World Final debut at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg scoring six points. The 1992 World Championship campaign was cut short for Hamill after breaking his wrist at the Overseas final at Coventry's Brandon stadium, however he was still a major part of the Heathens season, again averaging over eight points. Peter Karlsson (speedway Rider)
Peter Gunnar Karlsson (born 18 December 1969) is a Swedish former international motorcycle speedway rider who rode in the UK for the Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League. His two younger brothers, Mikael Max and Magnus Karlsson are both motorcycle speedway riders. All three brothers represented Sweden in the 2007 Speedway World Cup, with Magnus riding at reserve. He won the Swedish Pairs Championship twice with brother Mikael, in 1992 and 1996 and was the Swedish Individual Champion in 1989 and 1991. He is a legend at parent club Wolverhampton where he helped them win the 2009 Elite League title despite suffering with a broken collarbone two weeks prior to the play off final. Due to the average points limit, PK had to move on in 2010 and joined Belle Vue Aces on loan. Craig Boyce
Craig Boyce (born 2 August 1967 in Sydney, Australia) was a motorcycle speedway rider who primarily rode for the Poole Pirates in the British Elite League. After retiring from riding, Boyce became manager of the Australian national team until 2012. Boyce is a three-time Australian Solo Champion. He won all of his championships (1991, 1996 and 1997) with a 15-point maximum. Sebastian Ułamek
Sebastian Ułamek (born 20 November 1975) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Poland. He was a European individual Champion. Career Ułamek rode in the Polish leagues for his home club Włókniarz Częstochowa from 1992 until 1998 and then Gdańsk from 1999 to 2000 (the 2000 season was in the Ekstraliga). He began to establish himself as one of the leading riders and participated in his first Grand Prix series during the 1998 Speedway Grand Prix season. He made his British league debut in 2000, when riding several times for Wolverhampton Wolves before returning to Poland to ride for Wrocław. He was born in Arzignano, and was a member of the Italy national team and has represented them in several World Team Cup competitions. He is a record 12 times Italian Champion. Ryan Geoffrey Sullivan (born 20 January 1975, in Fitzroy, Victoria) is a retired Australian international Motorcycle speedway rider who has won the Australian senior, Under-21, and Under-16 championships during his career. Sullivan achieved a career best third in the 2002 Speedway Grand Prix, winning two of the ten Grand Prix run during the year. Lars Gunnestad
Lars Gunnestad (born 18 February 1971 in Drammen, Norway) is a former Norwegian international motorcycle speedway rider. He won the Individual Speedway Norwegian Championship a record ten times. His son, Lars Daniel, is speedway rider also. Lars Daniel finished fifth in the 2009 Norwegian Championship. Career summary Gunnestad first came to prominence in 1988 when he won his first Norwegian title at the age of 17. His first British club was Sheffield in 1991, who competed in the British League Division Two. Gunnestad missed the British speedway season in 1992, but returned in 1993 when he was signed by British League team the Poole Pirates with whom he would spend this rest of his British career.
