The 1995 Hall of Fame Bowl featured the 25th-ranked Duke Blue Devils and the unranked Wisconsin Badgers. Big Ten Conference
The Big Ten Conference (stylized B1G, formerly the Western Conference and the Big Nine Conference, among others) is a collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference in the United States. The ReliaQuest Bowl is an annual college football bowl game played in Tampa, Florida. The event was known as the Hall of Fame Bowl from 1986 to 1995 and the Outback Bowl from 1996 to 2022. Darrell Bevell
Darrell Wayne Bevell (born January 6, 1970) is an American football coach who is the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. John Hall (American Football)
John Hall (born March 17, 1974) is an American former professional football player who was a placekicker in the National Football League (NFL). He kicked for Port Charlotte High School and played college football at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. While at Wisconsin, Hall played and won three bowl games (Rose, Hall of Fame and Copper Bowls). He signed as a rookie free agent to the New York Jets in 1997. During his time with the Jets, Hall established himself as one of the hardest hitting kickers in the NFL, once injuring a player on a kickoff tackle. Hall gave the Jets victory in The Monday Night Miracle in 2000 against the Dolphins with a 40-Yard field goal in overtime. The 1994 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1994 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by fifth-year head coach Barry Alvarez, the Badgers compiled an overall record of 8–3–1 with a mark of 5–2–1 in conference play, placing third in the Big Ten. The 1996 Outback Bowl featured the Auburn Tigers and the Penn State Nittany Lions. This was the tenth edition of the game previously known as the Hall of Fame Bowl, and the first one to use the Outback Bowl name, with sponsorship from Outback Steakhouse. Penn State turned a close first half into a blowout, with a big third-quarter run, and ended up winning by a score of 43-14.
