1995 European Tour
The 1995 European Tour, titled as the 1995 Volvo Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th season of the European Tour, the main professional golf tour in Europe since its inaugural season in 1972. It was the eighth season of the tour under a title sponsorship agreement with Volvo, that was announced in May 1987. Changes for 1995 The 1995 season marked the start of co-sanctioning arrangements with other tours, with the addition of the Southern Africa Tour's Lexington South African PGA Championship to the European Tour schedule. The season was ultimately made up of 36 tournaments counting for the Order of Merit, and several non-counting "Approved Special Events". There were a few other changes from the previous season, with the addition of the South African PGA Championship and the loss of the Open V33 Grand Lyon and the Belgian Open. Alex Čejka
Alexander Čejka (born 2 December 1970) is a Czech-German professional golfer. Čejka was born in Mariánské Lázně, Czechoslovakia. He left the country with his parents as a refugee at the age of nine, eventually settling in Munich, where he lived for many years, becoming a West German citizen. Čejka lives in Las Vegas and also has a home in Prague. Professional career Čejka turned professional in 1989 and played on the European Tour from 1992 to 2002. His biggest tournament win was the Turespaña Masters Open de Andalucía at Islantilla Golf Club in 1995. That year he came 6th on the European Tour's Order of Merit. Robert Karlsson (born 3 September 1969) is a Swedish professional golfer who has played on the European Tour and the PGA Tour, and now plays on the PGA Tour Champions. The 1994–95 Southern Africa Tour, titled as the 1994–95 FNB Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th season of the Southern Africa Tour, the main professional golf tour in South Africa since it was formed in 1971. Turespaña Open De Canaria
The Tenerife Open was a professional golf tournament on the European Tour. Formerly known as the Turespaña Open De Canaria when the tournament was last held in 1995. In 2021, the tournament was revived into the European Tour 2021 European Tour, schedule. It is played in the Canary Islands of Spain, usually in Tenerife. Santiago Luna
Santiago Luna Torres (born 29 November 1962) is a Spanish professional golfer. Luna's father was on the staff at Puerta de Hierro Golf Club in Madrid. He turned professional in 1982 and has spent over twenty years on the European Tour, playing in over five hundred tournaments. He ranked in the top one hundred on the Order of Merit twelve times, with a best of 31st place in 1998. The Madeira Islands Open was a men's professional golf tournament on the European Tour played from 1993 to 2015 on Madeira, an Autonomous Regions of Portugal, autonomous region of Portugal.
