The 1994 UEFA Champions League final, originally known as the 1994 European Cup final, was a Association football, football match between Italian club AC Milan, Milan and Spanish club FC Barcelona, Barcelona, played on 18 May 1994 at the Olympic Stadium (Athens), Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece. The 1993–94 UEFA Champions League, originally known as the 1993–94 European Cup, was the 39th season of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA's premier club Association football, football tournament, and the second season with the UEFA Champions League logo (it was adopted in the group stage and semi-finals, the rest of the tournament continued to be called "European Champion Clubs' Cup" or "European Cup"). Fabio Capello (; born 18 June 1946) is an Italian former professional association football, football manager (association football), manager and player. As a player, Capello represented SPAL, AS Roma, Roma, AC Milan and Juventus FC, Juventus. He played as a midfielder and won several trophies during his career which lasted over 15 years. Roberto Donadoni (; born 9 September 1963) is an Italian football manager and former midfielder. A skilful and versatile winger, Donadoni was capable of playing on either flank, or in the centre.
