Einar Daníelsson
Einar Þór Daníelsson (born 19 January 1970) is an Icelandic former footballer who played in for UMF Grindavík, KR Reykjavík, KAA Gent, FSV Zwickau, OFI Crete, Stoke City, Lillestrøm SK, ÍBV and also for the Iceland national team. Club career Einar played for local side KR Reykjavík before moving to Greek side OFI Crete in 1999. He joined English side Stoke City in November 1999 along with a number of fellow countrymen following the club being taken over by a group of Icelandic businessmen. Einar made a good start scoring on his debut in a 4–0 win away at Wycombe Wanderers. However unlike some of the Icelandic players Einar failed to adapt to English football and left after making just nine appearances. Þórður Guðjónsson
Þórður "Thordur" Gudjonsson (born 14 October 1973) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or striker. Club career Þórður was born in Akranes started his career with local teams KA Akureyri and ÍA Akranes, and moved to German team VfL Bochum in 1993. He spent four years at Bochum before moving to Belgium side Genk in 1997. He stayed at Genk for three seasons until in 2000 he moved to Spanish side Las Palmas, but saw limited playing action and was loaned out to English Premier League club Derby County in March 2001. At Derby he played ten league matches for the club in 2000–01 and scored once in the league against West Ham United. In 2001–02, he played eight matches for Preston North End before making a return to Bochum in 2002. He remained at Bochum until January 2005 when he joined Stoke City. Arnar Bergmann Gunnlaugsson (born 6 March 1973) is an Icelandic football coach managing Víkingur in the Úrvalsdeild. He is a retired international player. During his career he enjoyed spells at Leicester City, Stoke City, Bolton Wanderers, IA Akranes, 1. FC Nürnberg, Feyenoord and Dundee United. Club career While at Leicester City he played a key role in their victorious 1999–2000 Football League Cup campaign. Knattspyrnufélagið Haukar ( en, Hawks F.C.) is an Icelandic multi-sport club from Hafnarfjörður with divisions in Association football, Football, Haukar Handball, Handball, Basketball, Karate, Skiing & Chess. Ungmennafélag Selfoss, commonly known as Selfoss or UMF Selfoss, is an Icelandic multisport club, located in the town of Selfoss in the Southern Region.
