Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División () is a professional association football league in Chile and the highest level of the Chilean football league system. Founded in 1933, it is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). The league is officially known as the Liga de Primera Itaú due to sponsorship by Brazilian bank Itaú Unibanco, Itaú. Throughout its history, the Chilean Primera División has had different formats, structures and number of participants. The 2025 Chilean Primera División, 2025 season is being contested through a single tournament throughout the calendar year. A total of 16 teams participate in the competition and it works with a system of promotions and relegations with the immediately lower category, the Primera B de Chile, Primera B (category with which it shares the Copa Chile). Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it is the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Chile and the entirity of the Americas. Luis Richard Zambrano Chávez (; born 20 May 1967), known as just Richard Zambrano, is a Chilean former professional footballer.
