Islington London Borough Council
Islington London Borough Council is the local authority for the London Borough of Islington in Greater London, England. The council was created by the London Government Act 1963 and replaced two local authorities: Finsbury Metropolitan Borough Council and Islington Metropolitan Borough Council. It is a London borough council, one of 32 in the United Kingdom capital of London. Islington is divided into 17 wards, each electing three councillors. Following the May 2022 election, Islington Council comprises 48 Labour Party councillors and 3 Green Party councillors. Of these 51 councillors, the Leader of the Council is Councillor Kaya Comer-Schwartz, while the Mayor is Councillor Marian Spall. Hillrise (ward)
Hillrise is an Agoura Hills, California residential neighborhood of modern mid-century detached homes that was first developed in 1968 and into the 1970s. It is located immediately west and south of Downtown, cutting it off from the South End. The neighborhood's character has created a rather bohemian culture, and the area is considered one of the most eclectic neighborhoods in Agoura Hills. A river on the southern edge of the district separates the area from the downtown. Development Hillrise was developed by Barclay-Hollander-Curci and work began on February 26 of 1968. Tollington Ward is one of sixteen electoral divisions of the London Borough of Islington and is one of the eight that make up the Islington North constituency. The population of this ward at the 2011 Census was 13,211.
