Dannette Louise Young-Stone (born October 6, 1964, in Jacksonville, Florida) is an American former track and field athlete. She won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul as a member of the 4 × 100 metres relay team. Grace Jackson (born Juny 14, 1961) is a Jamaican former athlete who competed mainly in the 100 and 200 metres. She won an Olympic silver medal in the 200 metres at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and is a former Jamaican record-holder in the 200m and 400m. She was Jamaican Sportswoman of the Year in 1986 and 1988. Miguel Ángel Gómez Campuzano (24 April 1968 – 6 April 1993) was a Spanish sprinter who competed primarily in the 200 metres. He represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Steffen Bringmann (born 11 March 1964 in Leipzig) is a retired East German sprinter who specialized in the 100 metres. Biography At the 1986 European Championships he won silver medals in the 100 metres and in the 4 × 100 metres relay, the latter with teammates Thomas Schröder, Olaf Prenzler and Frank Emmelmann. He had already won the silver medal in the 60 metres at the European Indoor Championships the same year. He became East German champion in 1987 and 1989 and German champion in 1991 and 1992. Marcus Adam (born 28 February 1968) is an English retired sportsperson, who represented Great Britain as both a sprinter and a bobsledder. Competing in athletics, he won the gold medal in the 200 metres at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, and also won gold and silver medals respectively in the 4 x 100 metres relay at the 1990 Commonwealth Games and 1990 European Championships. Floyd Wayne Heard (born March 24, 1966, in West Point, Mississippi) is a retired track and field sprinter from the United States, best known for setting the 1986 world's best year performance in the men's 200 m. He did so on 7 July 1986 at a meet in Moscow, Soviet Union, clocking 20.12s. A year later he won the title in the men's 200 m at the 1987 Pan American Games. Heard's personal best for the 200 m was 19.88 seconds, set at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Sacramento on 23 July 2000. That was the race where favorites Michael Johnson and Maurice Greene were pitted as rivals by the media.
