American League West
The American League West is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. The division has five teams as of the 2013 season, but had four teams from 1994 to 2012, and had as many as seven teams before the 1994 realignment. Richie Zisk
Richard Walter Zisk (born February 6, 1949) is an American former professional baseball player, coach and scout. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an outfielder and designated hitter for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers and Seattle Mariners. A two-time All-Star player, Zisk was named the American League’s 1981 Comeback Player of the Year. He was the first position player in major league history to sign a 10-year contract. Nelson Norman
Nelson Augusto Norman (born May 23, 1958) is a Dominican-American former professional baseball player, coach and manager. He played in Major League Baseball as a shortstop from to for the Texas Rangers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He returned to the major leagues in with the Montreal Expos. After his playing career he continued to serve in minor league baseball as a coach and manager for several professional baseball organizations. Thomas Alan Grieve (born March 4, 1948) is an American former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball from 1970 to 1979 for the Washington Senators / Texas Rangers, New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals. Edward Lee Miller (born June 29, 1957) is an American former professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an outfielder for four different teams, primarily the Atlanta Braves, during 1977–1984. Listed at and , he batted as a switch hitter and threw left-handed. Thomas Winton Boggs (October 25, 1955 – October 5, 2022) was an American professional baseball player and college baseball coach. He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher for the Texas Rangers (1976–1977, 1985) and the Atlanta Braves (1978–1983). Playing career Boggs attended Lanier High School in Austin, Texas. In 1974, his senior year, he was named his district's player of the year as he pitched to a 0.73 earned run average (ERA). Adrian Devine
Paul Adrian Devine (December 2, 1951June 27, 2020) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher in and from through for the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers. He batted and threw right-handed and served primarily as a relief pitcher. Devine was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 1970 and played for three of their minor league affiliates until 1973, when the Braves promoted him to the major leagues. After missing most of the 1974 season due to injury, he came back the following year and pitched well in the minors, resulting in him being called back up to the Braves that September when rosters expanded. Rik Aalbert Blyleven (born Blijleven, April 6, 1951) is a Dutch-American former professional baseball pitcher and color commentator.
