The 1973–74 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the fourth staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970–71 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, 1970–71. The 1972–73 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, defending champion was Nemo Rangers GAA, Nemo Rangers; however, the club did not qualify after losing to St Finbarr's National Hurling & Football Club, St Finbarr's in the 1973 Cork Senior Football Championship, 1973 Cork County Championship. UCD GAA, University College Dublin defeated Clan na Gael GAA (Armagh), Clan na Gael by 0–14 to 1–4 in the #Final_2, final replay at Croke Park on 28 April 1974 to win the competition. UCD GAA
UCD GAA or University College Dublin Gaelic Athletic Association club is a Dublin based Gaelic games club in University College Dublin. The UCD hurling club was founded in 1900 and boasted the mottos "Ad Astra" and "Cothrom Féinne". The first team was an amalgamation of students from UCD and Cecilia St. Although UCD had been playing Gaelic football unofficially since 1900, the official club history began in the season of 1911/1912. The football club competes in the Sigerson Cup and Higher Education Leagues as well as in the Dublin Senior Football Championship and the O'Byrne Cup. The hurling club competes in the Fitzgibbon Cup and Higher Education Leagues and occasionally in the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship and the Walsh Cup (hurling), Walsh Cup. Loughmore-Castleiney GAA
Loughmore-Castleiney is an ecclesiastical parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly. It is located in County Tipperary, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The area is made up of the villages of Loughmore and Castleiney and their hinterland. Loughmore is situated approximately 1 kilometer from the N62 road (Ireland), N62 road approximately halfway between the towns of Templemore and Thurles. Castleiney is approximately 3 kilometers from Templemore.

Benny Gaughran (Gaelic Footballer)
Bernard Laurence Gaughran (born 16 July 1945), better known as Benny Gaughran is a solicitor and Gaelic footballer. He played Gaelic football at a senior level in four different decades starting in the 1960s with Clan Na Gael GFC (Louth), Clan na Gael (Louth), UCD GAA, UCD (Dublin), Civil Service (Dublin) and St Sylvester's GAA, St Sylvester's (Dublin) GAA clubs and was a member of the Louth GAA, Louth Minor & Senior inter-county teams from the 1960s until the 1980s and the Dublin Over 40s team in the 1990s. Captain (Gaelic Games)
A captain of a Gaelic games team, sometimes known as a ''skipper'', is a player who, during the course of a match as well as before and after it, has several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of his teammates. Tradition means that some teams rotate the captaincy annually, though others may adopt a permanent captain. As well as being an onfield leader, a captain takes the coin toss and raises the trophy when this is the game's prize. Responsibilities The captain leads the team out onto the pitch. Before the start of a match, a coin toss between captains of the opposing teams is used to determine which end of the ground each team will kick to. Michael Judge (Gaelic Footballer)
Michael Judge (born 12 June 1975) is a former professional snooker player from Ireland. His best performance in a ranking event came in the 2004 Grand Prix, where he reached the semi-finals, and he reached his highest ranking, 24th, for the 2002–03 season. Career Judge qualified for the World Championship three times, his best performance coming in the 2001 tournament, after knocking Jimmy White out in qualifying and John Parrott in the first round, before being knocked out by fellow Dubliner Ken Doherty. He lost to eventual champion Peter Ebdon in the first round a year later. In 2006–07 he had something of a return to form, climbing 10 places in the rankings to 34th, after five successive falls from his career high of 24th, aided by a last 16 run in the Welsh Open. Ivan Heffernan
Ivan Heffernan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Ballina Stephenites, as well as the Mayo county team, which he captained. He is originally from Ballina, County Mayo. Heffernan was goalkeeper on the Mayo team that won the 1974 All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship. He was Mayo captain for the Connacht Senior Football Championship. Heffernan also played for UCD during the 1970s. He was goalkeeper on the UCD team that won the 1974 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship title. He also won two Sigerson Cup titles. Eugene McGee (sports Administrator)
Eugene McGee (16 November 1941 – 5 May 2019) was an Irish Gaelic footballer, manager, trainer, selector, Gaelic games administrator and journalist, who is best known for his time as manager of the Offaly senior football team. McGee guided the Offaly team to success in the 1980, 1981, and 1982 Leinster Senior Football Championship, and to the 1982 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship title. McGee was in charge of Ireland when they toured Australia for the 1990 International Rules Series. He was also in charge for the 1987 International Rules Series and Seán McCague was his assistant manager on both occasions. Ballina Stephenites is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the Ballina area in County Mayo, Ireland. They are the most successful club in Mayo and fourth most successful in Ireland based on trophy amount. History The Ballina Stephenites Club was founded on the 28th (last Saturday) of August 1886 by James Wallace Melvin.
