Yale Bulldogs Men's Ice Hockey
The Yale Bulldogs men's ice hockey team represents Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut and is the oldest collegiate ice hockey team in the United States. The Bulldogs compete in the Ivy League and the ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) and play their home games at Ingalls Rink, also called the Yale Whale. The current head coach is Keith Allain, who led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship in his first year as head coach (2006–2007 season). Allain is assisted by former QU/UND goaltender, Josh Siembida. On April 13, 2013, the Bulldogs shut out Quinnipiac 4–0 to win their first NCAA Division I Championship. Harvard Crimson Men's Ice Hockey
The Harvard Crimson men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Harvard University. The Crimson are a member of ECAC Hockey. They play at the Bright Hockey Center in Boston, Massachusetts. The Crimson hockey team is one of the oldest college ice hockey teams in the United States, having played their first game on January 19, 1898, in a 0–6 loss to Brown. The Crimson's archrival is the Cornell Big Red. The teams meet at least twice each season for installments of the historic Cornell–Harvard hockey rivalry. Marquette Golden Eagles Men's Ice Hockey
The Marquette Golden Eagles men's ice hockey team is a college ice hockey program that represents Marquette University. They are a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association at the Division II level. The university sponsored varsity ice hockey from 1922 to 1933. History Marquette was one of several midwestern colleges to found a varsity hockey program in the early 1920s. The Blue and Gold began playing in 1922 and rose to the top of their field, twice winning the Western Intercollegiate Championship. As was common with many schools of the era, Marquette's team suffered with the vagaries of weather and a series of warm winters in the early 30s put the program in jeopardy.
