1-Rider Partylist
Ang Buklod ng mga Motorista ng Pilipinas (), also known as the 1-Rider Partylist, is a political organization with party-list representation in the House of Representatives of the Philippines. Background The 1-Rider Partylist started out as a rider's club based in Bicol which would organize charity rides and provide legal aid to riders. The group later partnered with the Riders' Safety Advocates of the Philippines (RSAP) of Bonifacio Bosita and decided to launch a bid in the 2022 elections to get party-list representation in the House of Representatives. 1-Rider's first nominee is Rodge Gutierrez, a lawyer while its second nominee is Bonifacio Bosita, RSAP founder and a retired police colonel who featured in an altercation with a Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) traffic enforcer in March 2021 which became subject of a viral video. Ramon Rodrigo "Rodge" Lorejo Gutierrez (born October 6, 1993) is a Filipino lawyer and politician who has served as the representative for 1-Rider Partylist since 2022. Early life and education Gutierrez was born on October 6, 1993, in Quezon City, Philippines. His father, Ramon Basil Gutierrez, is a businessman and owner of Alro Construction and Development Corp., a company that has secured contracts with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). While most seats in the House of Representatives of the Philippines are elected by Plurality voting, plurality vote in Single-member district, single-member districts, 20% of representatives are elected by party-list proportional representation. Bonifacio Laqui Bosita is a Filipino politician, motorcycle rights activist, and retired police officer. He is currently serving as a representative for the 1-Rider Partylist alongside Rodge Gutierrez in the House of Representatives. In February 2025, Bosita did not sign the impeachment complaint against vice president Sara Duterte, contrasting with Gutierrez who voted in favor of impeachment.
