''Świat według Kiepskich'' is a Polish language, Polish-language studio album by the punk rock band Big Cyc. It was released on 11 June 2000, by the EMI Music Poland record label. Its titular song was commissioned as the Theme music, theme song of the sitcom ''Świat według Kiepskich''. The album was recorded in 1999, in the studio Hendrix in Lublin, Poland. In 2001, the album was awarded the Music recording certification, diamond certification by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry, for selling 50 000 copies. Songs of the album are separated by the monologues of Andrzej Grabowski in the role of the main character of the television series, Ferdynand Kiepski. Big Cyc
Big Cyc ("Cyc" is Polish language, Polish for "Breasts, Tit") is a Polish Rock music, rock musical band, band formed in March 1988. The band is well known in Poland for their controversial behaviour. The cover of their first album, ''Z partyjnym pozdrowieniem'' (Polish language, Polish for ''With a Polish United Workers' Party, Party Greeting''), was an image of Vladimir Lenin with a Mohawk hairstyle. The title of their second album, ''Nie wierzcie elektrykom'' (''Don't Trust Electricians'') refers to the Polish president Lech Wałęsa, an electrician by profession. Their fourth album cover, ''Wojna plemników'' (''War of Spermatozoons'') featured a nun drying condoms on a clothes line. Andrzej Grabowski
Andrzej Piotr Grabowski (born 15 March 1952) is a Polish actor, singer and comedian. He is best known for playing the role of Ferdynand Kiepski in the TV series '' The Lousy World'' as well as being one of the judges on the Polish edition of Dancing with the Stars. Career Grabowski graduated from Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Kraków in 1974, and shortly afterwards started to perform at Juliusz Słowacki Theatre. Two years later he starred in the play ''Przepraszam, czy tu biją''. During his studies in Kraków, Grabowski debuted in the full-length movie, ''Odejścia, powroty''. Krzysztof Skiba
Krzysztof Skiba (born 7 July 1964 in Gdańsk) is a Polish musician, singer-songwriter, satirist, essayist and actor. He is best known as the vocalist of the rock band, Big Cyc. In 1983, he cofounded the anarchy organization '' Ruch Społeczeństwa Alternatywnego'' (Movement of Alternative Society), and performed in student theatre ''Pstrąg'' and in many school cabarets, also co-creating street happenings named “The Orange Alternative”. In 1988, Skiba joined Jacek Jędrzejak (guitar), Jarosław Lis (drums), and Roman Lechowicz (guitar) in Big Cyc, the previous vocalist, Robert Rejewski, having left. Skiba was the only one who did not choose a pseudonym for his name. Locomotiv GT (often abbreviated LGT, and sometimes using the nickname Loksi) was a Hungarian rock band formed in 1971. Ernest Anthony Puente Jr. (April 20, 1923 – May 31, 2000), commonly known as Tito Puente, was an American musician, songwriter, bandleader, timbalero, and record producer. He composed dance-oriented mambo and Latin jazz music. The Fiat 126 (Type 126) is a four-passenger, rear-engine, city car manufactured and marketed by Fiat over a twenty-eight year production run from 1972 until 2000, over a single generation. Introduced by Fiat in October 1972 at the Turin Auto Show, the 126 replaced the Fiat 500, using major elements from its design. Juraj Jánošík
Juraj Jánošík (first name also ''Juro'' or ''Jurko'', ; ''Hungarian: Jánosik György'', baptised 25 January 1688, died 17 March 1713) was a Slovak highwayman. Jánošík has been the main character of many Slovak novels, poems, and films. According to the legend, he robbed nobles and gave the loot to the poor, a deed often attributed to the famous Robin Hood. Die Toten Hosen are a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. The name is taken from the German slang idiom ''tote Hose'' (literally "dead trousers"), which means "nothing happening"; "boring". The band has had an important success through the years, and it has built a loyal following both in Europe and South America, being particularly popular in their home country and in Argentina.
