Classification

Yiche is a Hani language (''fangyan'' 方言) that belongs to the Langza 浪杂 dialect cluster (''tuyu'' 土语) of Honghe County.Lan (2009:14), quoted from Dai Qingxia (1995). ''Haniyu gailun'' 哈尼语概论, pp.176, 187.
