In November 2021, it was flown to Louisiana, reportedly for restoration and upgrading. It has now been restored and is back in service. The plane was spotted at Trump rally in Robstown,Texas on October 22, 2022 and at the Dayton, OH Rally on November 7th, 2022 where he had the plane taxi to the stage.

On May 21, 2021, Trump announced in a press release that the plane would be restored and upgraded at a service facility in Louisiana. On November 1, 2021, the plane was flown to Chennault International Airport near Lake Charles, Louisiana, with a one-hour stopover in Nashville, Tennessee, after declaring an emergency. On October 22, 2022, the plane would take its first flight back after major upgrades. It was flown right back to Trump in West Palm Beach, Florida.
