*1897: Sorachi Subprefecture established. *1899: Furano Village (now Kamifurano Town, Nakafurano Town, Furano City, and Minamifurano Town) transferred to Kamikawa Subprefecture. *2010: Horokanai town from Uryū District transferred to Kamikawa Subprefecture.
