History
Construction on the dam with 12 MW hydroelectric power station began in 2003 and was completed in 2009 but there were some leakages which delayed commissioning of the Hydel Project. Pisciculture
Serlui B Dam is also being developed as a pisciculture center with lakhs of fishes released into the dam in 2009. The state Government of Mizoram has received over 45 lakhs as revenue for 5 years.References
