, Tubid suffered a dislocated ankle injury in a game against Alaska that forced him to sit the rest of the quarterfinals and semifinals. When the Kings were in need of a scorer in Game 4 of the finals, he came off the bench and helped Ginebra even the series at 2-2. Then when the series went to a decisive 7th game, he stepped up when his team needed him most, scoring 20 points in the game to help the Kings win their 8th title. After the series, he along with teammate Eric Menk were named co-Finals MVP of the series. He also received multiple All-Star appearances as member of the Kings. During the 2010–11 Philippine Cup, he changed his uniform number from 71 to 15 because it represents the date of his birthday. On January 27, 2012, Tubid was as part of a three-team trade that sent him along with
