This riding was created in 1933 from parts of
Chambly—Verchères,
Richelieu,
St. Hyacinthe—Rouville and
Yamaska ridings.
It was abolished in 1966 when it was redistributed into
Chambly,
Richelieu and
Saint-Hyacinthe
