Taxonomy
Two species are known, ''Reiszia gubini'' and ''R. tippula'', both found in middle Permian sediments in the
Mezen River Basin of European Russia. ''R. gubini'' is known from a partial skull and mandible, while ''R. tippula'' is known only from a mandible.
