Pieter Johannes van Rhijn (24 March 1886 – 9 May 1960) was a Dutch astronomer. Born in
Gouda, he studied at
Groningen. He served as director at the Sterrenkundig Laboratorium (
Kapteyn Astronomical Institute) in Groningen.
