In the media

During his life, and posthumously, Tolstykh has enjoyed a high profile in media, and on social media. A video of Givi at his birthday party in 2015 by British journalist Graham Phillips, has been viewed more than 11 million times on YouTube. Tolstykh was known to be friends with Phillips.
