Name and history

Statewide, other Mifflin Townships are located in Ashland, Pike, Richland, and Wyandot counties. The township was officially established in 1811, being separated from Liberty Township. Mifflin Township was named for

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
