Personal life

Evans is openly gay. Evans is unwilling to discuss his sexuality in the press, asserting his personal life to be private. He deliberately shields his family from the press. When asked about the opinion that Hollywood might have of his sexuality, he argued that his private life is not connected to Hollywood and that "Talent, success, what you do in your personal life – I don't see how one should have an effect on the other."
