Locmélar

Locmélar (; br, Lokmelar) is a Communes of France, commune in the Finistère Departments of France, department of Brittany (administrative region), Brittany in north-western France.

Toponymy

From the Breton ''loc'' which means hermitage (religious retreat), hermitage (cf.: Locminé) and ''Melor, Mélar'' who is a Breton saint.

Population

Inhabitants of Locmélar are called in French language, French ''Locmélariens''.
