(PSTC). The system also contains several trolley lines and interurban lines. Five T trains and the G line were inherited from the former

(PTC) and originally built by the

(PRT). The D lines were built by the Philadelphia and West Chester Traction Company (P&WCTC) and later inherited by the Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company (PSTC). Operation of these two lines were taken over by SEPTA in 1970.
