Career

A New York native, Davis appeared in his first film in 1916. He began to achieve fame after arriving at Columbia Pictures, appearing in several

Death

Davis died of a gastric hemorrhage on January 13, 1948 in
Inglewood, California Inglewood is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. As of the 2020 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 107,762. It was incorporated on February 14, 1908. The city is in the South Bay ...
. His wife Kathryn survived him by 47 years and died on January 17, 1995. Both are buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery.
