JAMA, an acronym standing for 'The Liberation Movement of the People of Iran' ( fa, جنبش آزادی‌بخش مردم ایران, jonbeš-e āzādībaḵᵛš-e mardom-e īrān), was founded in 1964 by a number of radical members of the Party of the Iranian People who were led by

and Habibollah Payman. They had come to the conclusion that
