As of the census of 2000, there were 895 people, 254 households, and 193 families residing in the CDP. The population density was . There were 260 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the CDP was 16.65% White (U.S. Census), White, 0.56% Native American (U.S. Census), Native American, 40.89% Asian (U.S. Census), Asian, 16.31% Pacific Islander (U.S. Census), Pacific Islander, 0.22% from Race (United States Census), other races, and 25.36% from two or more races. Hispanic (U.S. Census), Hispanic or Latino (U.S. Census), Latino of any race were 6.26% of the population. There were 254 households, out of which 30.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.8% were Marriage, married couples living together, 12.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.0% were non-families. 17.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.52 and the average family size was 3.84. In the CDP the population was spread out, with 22.7% under the age of 18, 11.5% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 19.9% from 45 to 64, and 17.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
