Delila Hatuel born in Acre, Israel. Her brother Maor Hatuel is also a fencer, as is her aunt, Olympian Lydia Hatuel-Czuckermann, and her uncle, Olympian

However, a reporter for '' Haaretz'' said "it seems that Hatuel's knee injury was agonizing".
