in the NHL. Chambers was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame at York University in 2006 and the University of British Columbia in 2012. He has also authored six books and numerous articles on ice hockey, training methods, and coaching. Two of these books, ''The Hockey Drill Book'' published by Human Kinetics Pub. and ''Coaching: the Art and Science'' published by Firefly Books, have been translated and published by the Russian Sport Federation.
