Name and history

It is the only Blendon Township statewide. Blendon Township was originally known as Harrison Township when it was organized in 1815. It received its present name of Blendon Township in 1824.


Government

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
