On October 24, 2018, it was announced that the Big 12 Tournament would stay in Kansas City through 2024, and on June 12, 2020, it was announced that it would stay in Kansas City through 2025. Kansas has won the most Big 12 postseason titles as well, winning 11 out of 24, while appearing in 14 championship games.
