Personal life[edit] In 2012, Sachdev ventured into business, opening several fashion stores in Mumbai.[3] In 2015, he married his Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir co-star and television writer Shalmalee Desai.[4][5] They separated in 2017.[6] Career[edit] In the early days of Sachdev's career he was interested in filmmaking and modelling.[7] He also won several titles like Mr Baroda, Mr University, and Mr Gujarat (2004-2005) that compelled him to participate in the Gladrags Model Hunt.[7][8] Later, he took up acting projects to develop filmmaking skills.
