Tyler was born on 8 September 1946, in

Near the end of his life, Tyler suffered from a degenerative back condition and Parkinson’s disease. He retired in 2016 and finished his memoir ''My Life As an Animal'' (2017). For the final six weeks of his life, he recorded a
