On May 20, 2017, Sanchez was placed on the 10-day disabled list for the third time of the season due to the same finger issue. Sanchez was placed on the disabled list for the fourth time in the season on July 22 with a recurrence of the same blister. Washington Nationals

On March 13, 2022, Sanchez signed a minor league contract with the

Minnesota Twins

On June 2, 2022, Sanchez signed a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins. He had his contract selected on August 1st. On September 23, Sanchez was designated for assignment. He elected free agency on November 10, 2022.
