Stone In Focus
''Selected Ambient Works Volume II'' (abbreviated as ''SAW II'') is the second studio album by the British electronic music artist and producer Aphex Twin, Richard D. James under the alias Aphex Twin. It was released on 7March 1994 through Warp Records. Following James's ambient techno debut ''Selected Ambient Works 85–92'', ''Volume II'' features purely ambient music. James was inspired by lucid dreaming and likened the album to "standing in a power station on Lysergic acid diethylamide, acid." Most of the tracks on ''Selected Ambient Works Volume II'' were untitled and represented with abstract photographs and pie charts. Fan-named, unofficial titles are still widely used today. The album received mixed reviews upon release; critics mainly criticised its largely beatless composition and the repetition throughout. 19 (song)
"19" is a song by British musician Paul Hardcastle, released as the first single from his self-titled fourth studio album ''Paul Hardcastle'' (1985). The song has a strong anti-war message, focusing on the United States' involvement in the Vietnam War and the effect it had on the soldiers who served. The track was notable for early use of sampled and processed speech, in particular a synthesized stutter effect used on the words "nineteen" and "destruction" and “Saigon”. It also includes various non-speech, re-dubbed sampling, such as crowd noise and a military bugle call. "19" features sampled narration (voiced by Peter Thomas), out-of-context interview dialogue ("I wasn't really sure what was going on") and news reports from '' Vietnam Requiem'' the ABC television documentary about the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) suffered by Vietnam veterans. In 2009, the song placed at 73 on VH1's ''100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the 80s.'' "19" had huge international succes ...

Potassium
Potassium is a chemical element; it has Symbol (chemistry), symbol K (from Neo-Latin ) and atomic number19. It is a silvery white metal that is soft enough to easily cut with a knife. Potassium metal reacts rapidly with atmospheric oxygen to form flaky white potassium peroxide in only seconds of exposure. It was first isolated from potash, the ashes of plants, from which its name derives. In the periodic table, potassium is one of the alkali metals, all of which have a single valence electron in the outer electron shell, which is easily removed to create cation, an ion with a positive charge (which combines with anions to form salts). In nature, potassium occurs only in ionic salts. Elemental potassium reacts vigorously with water, generating sufficient heat to ignite hydrogen emitted in the reaction, and burning with a lilac-flame color, colored flame. It is found dissolved in seawater (which is 0.04% potassium by weight), and occurs in many minerals such as orthoclase, a ...

Tyrrell 019
The Tyrrell 019 was a 1990 Formula One racing car, designed by a team led by Harvey Postlethwaite, and built by Tyrrell Racing, Tyrrell. It was an evolution of Postlethwaite's first design for Tyrrell, the Tyrrell 018. The car was introduced two races into the 1990 Formula One season, scoring a point on its debut in the hands of Jean Alesi. The car was powered by the Cosworth DFR, Ford DFR V8 engine - a descendant of the Cosworth DFV. Postlethwaite was an experienced F1 engineer, having previously built race-winning cars for Hesketh Racing, Hesketh, Walter Wolf Racing, Wolf and Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari, and so was well placed to spot the shortcomings of his own design. Taking the 018 as their base, Postlethwaite and Tyrrell Chief Designer Jean-Claude Migeot decided to try to improve the aerodynamic efficiency of the chassis. One area in pa ...
