The fourteenth season of ''American Idol'', also known as ''American Idol XIV'', premiered on the Fox television network on January 7, 2015. Uniondale is a census-designated place (CDP), as well as a suburb in Nassau County, New York, on Long Island, in the Town of Hempstead. The population was 32,473 at the 2020 United States Census.
