Depression is a mental state of low mood and aversion to activity, which affects more than 280 million people of all ages (about 3.5% of the global population). Classified medically as a mental and behavioral disorder, the experience of depression affects a person's thoughts, behavior, motivation, feelings, and sense of well-being. ''Desperate'' is a 1947 suspense film noir directed by Anthony Mann and featuring Steve Brodie, Audrey Long, Raymond Burr, Douglas Fowley, William Challee and Jason Robards. Plot Steve Randall (Brodie) is an independent trucker who is hired by an old friend to haul some freight. Only when Steve arrives at the warehouse does he discover he has been hired to haul away stolen goods. Steve wants no part of the plot and resists, but a cop is killed as they're committing the burglary, and all except one manage to get away. Later, after kidnapping and assaulting Steve, the criminals, led by Walt Radak (Burr), threaten to mutilate Randall's wife (Long) unless Steve confesses to the murder committed by Radak's brother, captured during the theft and sentenced to death for the cop-killing. ''Desperate'' is the debut studio album and second overall album by Australian rock band Divinyls, released in 1983 by Chrysalis Records. The album contains the singles "Science Fiction" and " Siren (Never Let You Go)" and " Casual Encounter". The international version included the single "Boys in Town" from '' Monkey Grip''. Background Divinyls formed in 1980, founded by Mark McEntee and fronted by lead singer Chrissy Amphlett. After scoring several gigs, they were discovered by Australian director Ken Cameron. This led to Divinyls providing the entire soundtrack for his film '' Monkey Grip'' (1982). Amphlett was also given a supporting role in the film, playing a temperamental rock singer loosely based on herself, fronting a band played by other Divinyls members. ''Kratos'' (Ancient Greek: Κράτος) is the third mini-album, and the third part of the ''VIXX 2016 CONCEPTION'' trilogy, preceded by '' Zelos'' and ''Hades'', by the South Korean boy band VIXX. The album was released on October 31, 2016 under the label of Jellyfish Entertainment. The song "The Closer" was used to promote the album. Background and release On March 29, 2016, Jellyfish Entertainment released the ''Conception Art Film'', which signaled the start of their year-long project and trilogy ''VIXX 2016 CONCEPTION'', through which the group would show their wide musical and conceptual spectrum and would be themed around the gods that appear in Greek mythology. Suburban Legends are an American ska punk band that formed in Huntington Beach, California, in 1998 and later based themselves in nearby Santa Ana.
